With songs that contain the grace and power of philosophical fables, Taiwanese singer/songwriter Leah Yeh has attracted major buzz in her home country and has recently begun to receive international attention. Her adventurous mixture of pop, electronic, and world music is unlike anything else. Using a diverse mixture of instruments including piano, flute, handpan, sitar, didgeridoo, and more, she creates fully immersive worlds of sound to express her thoughts on love, philosophy, and nature.

Leaf Yeh released her first all-original album, ‘Birth and Death’ in 2019. Filled with moving reflections on life, it was an instant hit with fans and critics alike. She supported it with several high-profile appearances at festivals including the 2019 Taiwan World Music Festival Showcase, Simple Life Festival, and Macao Craft Market Festival. She was the first, and so far the only, Taiwanese artist invited to perform at both the Thailand Pansiam Handpan Festival and Switzerland’s EchoSoundSculpture living room sESSion.

She has also maintained a successful career in film and television scoring, writing for projects including Angry Birds 2, With You, and more. In 2019, Yeh’s talents earned her a nomination for a Golden Indie Music Award, Taiwan’s prominent national award for independent artists.

With a new album scheduled for 2021 and tours in Japan, Korea, and the United States, Yeh’s career is beginning to truly blossom. Having spent years traveling the world and honing her craft, she is now poised to reach a larger audience than ever before and introduce the world to the unique atmosphere of her music.
