WALES
Wales-based duo Josh Doughty (kora) and Tim Short (guitar) were introduced to each other by world-famous Ngoni player Bassekou Kouyaté at the festival du Niger in Segou, Mali, back in 2007.
Through their music, they pay their respects to the great Mandinka traditions of West Africa alongside new compositions of their own. They are releasing an album late summer 2020.
